Duane Crawford

Project Manager, Industrial Division

Value Delivered
By combining his extensive industry experience, advanced technical training and fast-track project management expertise, Duane creates tailored solutions that help clients meet the challenges of today's demanding facility environments. After discussing a project with a client, listening to the objectives and defining the project's scope of work, he prepares and presents a complete proposal, including cost estimates, schedules, and manpower and material requirements. Following project approval, he tracks costs and schedules, manages tradespeople, attends job meetings and communicates with the client. Always, his goal is to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The result is the quality systems and expert services clients need to ensure consistently high-performance facilities and responsive, cost-effective facility management.

Expertise
During his more than 21 years in mechanical construction, Duane has acquired significant food processing industry expertise. He began his career at Stokely USA, where he spent more than a decade managing a maintenance team of 80 employees responsible for maintaining the food packager's production equipment. Prior to joining Kilgust, he was plant manager at Acme Equipment Corporation, a firm that manufactured and installed stainless steel food processing equipment.

Duane holds a maintenance mechanical millwright journeyman's card from Morain Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In addition, he has attended a variety of certification courses at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, including business management; chillers, cooling towers and pumps; milk pasteurization, and structural engineering for non-structural engineers. He also received a certificate in project management from the Mechanical Contractors Association of America's Institute for Project Management at the University of Texas.
