Whether the project is design/build or plan-and-spec, Shawn works with architects, general contractors and other clients to ensure that they get the mechanical systems they want and need for high-performance operation and maximum cost control. After developing the project proposal, he maintains schedules; manages costs, manpower, and safety; monitors document control, and ensures that throughout the project, clients receive responsive, high-quality customer care.

 

Expertise

As a project manager and designer, Shawn specializes in providing mechanical systems that effectively integrate such factors as a facility's primary intended use, estimated construction costs, and the desired level of occupant comfort and productivity. An expert in critical-path scheduling and building code compliance, he is especially adept at managing the high-speed challenges of fast-track projects to ensure timely delivery. He also knows how to maximize the up-front planning opportunities and timesavings inherent in projects with significant prefabrication demands. By manufacturing as much of a system as possible in advance, he enables on-time availability, more efficient installation, and ultimately, optimum system performance and client satisfaction.

 

Holder of a bachelor of science degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he is also licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a designer of engineering systems.

Shawn is married and the father of two boys, with whom he likes to play computer games.
